New Covid Regulations - September 2021
Starting Monday September 20th, 2021 Balmoral Golf Course will be implementing the Alberta Government’s “COVID-19 Restriction Exemption Program”. This program applies to the DINING AREA only. These regulations will not affect outdoor golfing.
This means that customers will be required to show proof of one of the following in order to enjoy our dining area:
- Proof of Vaccination
- Partial vaccination (one dose) accepted September 20th to October 25th if received 2 weeks before time of service.
- Full vaccination (two doses) required after October 25th.
- Proof of a privately-paid negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of service (test from AHS or Alberta Precision Laboratories not allowed).
- Documentation of a medical exemption.
Customers can come into the front of the clubhouse/proshop area, wearing a mask, to pay and or register for their golf without proof of vaccination or equivalent. They must then immediately proceed outside and onto the course. Proof of vaccination is only required when dining inside or on the patio.
No more than two power carts will be rented to each foursome. A divider can be provided for those players who require it at no additional charge. If a player refuses to ride on a cart with someone, even with the divider, that customer is responsible to pay the full cart fee for their round (both seats). Notification at time of booking is required to have the shield in place and ready for your arrival
We would like to thank our customers in advance for their understanding during this new set of regulations. Please do not argue or try to negotiate around these regulations with our staff. We are doing our best to follow the protocols set out by the government of Alberta and appreciate and thank you for your cooperation.
